The Isar Tech Leaders Community values your privacy. We keep data collection to a minimum and only use your information for community-related purposes.
What We Collect and Why
Identity verification: To confirm you are a real person before joining.
Slack invitations: To send you an invitation to our Slack channel. When you accept the invite, you also agree to Slack’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which apply to your use of their platform.
Event registration: When hosting events, we may use trusted third-party platforms (such as Luma.com) to manage sign-ups and attendance. These platforms have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review before registering.
What We Don’t Do
- We do not sell or share your information with third parties outside of community needs.
- We do not use your data for marketing or analytics.
- We do not store your data beyond what is required for verification, Slack invitations, or event participation.
Keeping the Community Safe
- We may keep basic records of who has been invited, solely to prevent abuse or repeated false applications.
- We may remove or block users who misuse our platforms or act in bad faith.
- We rely on event platforms with security measures to protect participant data.
Data Retention
Verification data is deleted after your Slack invite is sent. Event registration data is handled by the event platform and follows their retention policy.
